About the Project

The project will focus principally on the areas of the environment, health and tourism.  We hope that through engaging in this project, students will have the opportunity to take responsibility for their own health and environment as well as developing their communication skills.  Through engaging with young people in other counties we hope that students will improve their awareness of other cultures and will have the opportunity to make compare and contrast a range of issues.  Outcomes and products will vary from questionnaires testing students’ knowledge of the partner countries and these countries’ environmental awareness, shared active and individual projects to examine how physically active students are, keeping a food diary to the final product of a brochure on eco-tourism in the partner countries’ regions.  The project will also involve students of different age groups, especially 14-16-year-olds, and teachers of a variety of subjects at the participating schools.
